An aggressive pour yields a dark straw color with thin head that soon dissipates. Smells piney with a bit of grapefruit. Taste is a small bouquet of citrus and pine, not hop-heavy. Mouthfeel is thin with a slightly disappointing taste because it does not follow the nose. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Nothing to write home about.

12 oz can poured into a snifter glass. The Prospect Pale and the other pale reviews perhaps should be combined as this brewery simply added 'Prospect' to the moniker a couple years ago. Pours a light copper with a half inch of just off white foam. Clear and brght with moderate retention and some light lacing. Can confirms the 5.7% ABV.
Nose is grainy and slightly metallic initially, with some light and predominantly citrusy hops coming forward with some warming and exposure. Hop profile seems a bit more prominant when I've had this on tap coincidentally. Taste follows in style with a dry finish and a light bitterness. Straightforward and easy drinking, and with a bit more of a citrus oily finish to conclude. Nicely carbonated, lightly spritzy but perhaps a bit too dry in the end as for hop balance to make the A team.

Despite 12 hads, looks like I'm the first to review this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of caramel malts, hops. Taste is the same. Lots of caramel malts for the style, hops are there as well, balanced, light bitterness at the finish. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall a good, easy drinking beer.
