On tap at Steam Haus Gastropub in Corona, CA.
Pours a clear honey orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, jasmine, and tea-like aromas. Taste is much the same with jasmine and brewed tea flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of floral bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with an interesting jasmine presence.

Described on the label as "Jasmine Pale Ale," so that must be the hard-to-identify flowery flavor. Nice aroma with a some citrus peel and a spicy maltiness. Rather rich, pleasant full mouthfeel, and decent carbonation. Actually quite creamy on the tongue and in the glass the lacing is swirly and nice. Not overly flavored, but the sweet spicy stuff adds an interesting note to the beer blend. Doesn't taste as hoppy to me as many Pale Ales, but the label says 40 IBU. More floral than bitter, but there is a nice raspy tang.
Bought this 22 oz at Baron's on W. Point Loma Blvd in San Diego. Only place I have seen this, and they have most of the Manzanita brews in one place.

Sampled 5/28/2011 at Pizza Port Carlsbad.
Pours clear dark yellow, white head, nice lacing and retention.
Aroma is spicy and flowery but also piney. Interesting but overall a bit light and weird.
Flavor definitely contains jasmine but also some sweet honey blonde ale along with a bit of American hops. I also get some pepper and strange fruit in the background.
Body is light/medium, drinkable but once is enough for me.
