Yellow amber color. Some spritz on the tongue but not much foam. Flattens out before long. Not much aroma.
Rather sweet with a fruit-flavored tea taste. This reminds me a lot of fruit juice. Maybe a new blend with grapefruit and that nice bitter tang at the end. Some woody darkness and a little astringency. Whatever is going on with the wheat this is not a good result.
An acidic taste at the finish. Bitter and dishwatery. I can't taste much to recommend this stuff. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Beverage Warehouse near Marina Del Rey.

3rd anniversary 22 oz bottle. The variations they had of this beer on cask & tap at their anniversary party were great. I tried a version with coffee, and a version with black tea and apricots (?). This bottled version isn't bad, but after trying the other versions it seems a bit plain. Pours a light amber color with very little head. Light, bready aromas. Slightly bitter citrus flavors. Not bad, but I had higher hopes, especially after trying the coffee version. That was amazing.
