Their first anniversary beer, brewed with the addition of cognac soaked oak chips.
Had a couple tasters at their first anniversary party today.
Pours a dark hazy brown, and the cask draw was about half head, with great cascading. Malty caramel aromas. Reminds me of a quad, but with a little more sharpness on the tongue. Possibly from the sour cherry. Didn't pick up much cherry flavor though.
This one in my opinion was almost identical to the regular Marshal Law, with just a slight extra booziness from the cognac. Although I didn't get much cognac or woody flavors.
Still a very good brew.
