A - Clear bronze color with a small, foamy, thin head. Decent retention leaving only patches of lace.
S - Malt heavy with caramel and bready malt. Some grassy and earthy hop aroma. Touches of citrus fruitiness, mostly lemon.
T - Hop profile is hidden by strong caramel and bready malts. A touch of graininess as well. Some hop flavor but mostly grassy and herbal hops. Provides a touch of bitterness as well.
M - Medium to light body with a touch above average carbonation. Quite smooth.
D - Easy to drink and not offensive but it doesn't win me over. Nothing over powering, just a easy to drink sessionable beer.
Notes: Had this at the brewpub before hiking the Dipsea trail. It was a nice easy to drink beer but it wasn't very memorable, especially compared to the hike. Malt heavy, even for an APA. Good but nothing special.
