Cask handpulled pint in the breweries only pub: The Old Fighting Cocks, Oakengates early Feb 2012.
The beer pours as gold as the name suggests, on top a fading white head that soon became a collar and wisp.
The nose was citrus based: pink grapefruit and mild lemon.
The taste also leads with the citrus flavours as do most of this breweries beers. Refreshing but a little too citrusy for my palate, others will droll over it though, each to their own.
