Hand-pulled half-pint in the breweries only pub (Ye Olde Fighting Cocks), in Oakengates on 1st Aug 2013. This brewery brings out a different 4.8% ABV brew every month: this is one of them.
Like so many of this breweries beers this is golden, bright and clean looking, this one had a thinner head than is usual, but just as snowy white as it's stable mates.
Hops rule the nose and taste: American I should imagine by the beers name and the brewers tendency to use them whenever he can.
The hop blend seemed to give a non-committal aroma and taste: very hoppy, but not too bitter, floral or citrusy, just hoppy!
I enjoyed it anyway: even if my description is poor!
