Big passionfruit and citrus aroma with notes of mango. A light subdued malt is also present but the hops dominate in a way I really like.
Mostly clear but with just a touch of hop haze with a nice, big white head. Good head retention and lacing.
Really big flavour with a nice strong bitterness complemented nicely by the rich fruity hop character and a nice, laid back dose of caramel malt.
Medium body with moderate carbonation. More that suitable and working well with the hops.
A really nice IPA, possibly NZ's best. Lots of hop flavour, no overbearing malt. Really quite enjoyable.
