This is the very first of my big stash from NZ and thought id start with something ive been hanging to try and its ABV is 6.5% this is the 2011 edition,it pours a dark orange red hue with a wispy one finger head and a rim of lacing, the smell is very sour with aromas of blackcurrants,Brett, white grapes, must and sour cherries, the mouthfeel is just over light bodied with minimal carbonation and has tastes of sour white grapes, barnhouse funk,Brett, sour raspberries,a touch of oak and finished bone dry and tart, overall i really enjoyed this and probably one of the best efforts for an AWA ive tasted in a longtime outside of America would buy again in a heartbeat cheers.

Bottle at Beervana 2012.
Clearish amber red colour with no real head.
Sour as anything on the nose with some nice cherry notes. Good.
Sour cherry and currants on the nose. Very nice and tart. Excellent complexity.
Medium-light body with moderate carbonation. It just works with the flavours.
A lovely sour ale. Great fruit character that combines with tartness to complete a great beer.
