Decent sized restaurant/bar with a respectable bottle and tap list and good food. It was pretty affordable and the beer seemed good in terms of selection, variety and hypebeastism. Food is standard pub fare fancied up a decent amount and was all good to very good. Service was okay, though didn't seem as beer-focused as some places, but it wasn't an issue.

Comfortable, cool vibe at this place on Blake St in LoDo.

Good selection of local/national beers, good balance of styles. Beers all poured properly with nice amount of head, right temperature, and reasonably priced.

Food was excellent. Fall menu seemed to be German-inspired and very creative. My 3 dinner mates & Ireally enjoyed our meals, well-prepared and good proportioned.

Service was prompt and friendly, couldn't ask for more.

This is definitely a place to seek out while in Denver.

I went here recently for the first time. It was good for sure but I feel like it fell a little bit short of what people have told me about it. Overall the place seems great but I think I was over hyped on it. I'm fairly new to the area and everyone raves about Freshcraft.

The beer selection was great... in theory. It seemed like every time I asked for something it was already gone. It was late in the evening though so I can not fault them too much and did manage to get several good beers that I don't normally see around. The food was pretty good but I was expecting more. I'll be back soon and try to explore the menu more.

If you want to combine a good meal and craft beer in Denver, this is the place to go. The food as amazing and the beer list was solid, but not spectacular. If you are only looking for beer, you are doing yourself a disservice by going here, with all of the other options in the city. This, however, is the perfect dinner destination in Denver.

Freshcraft's beer selection is why it's on the map. A constant list of rotating beers always makes me return, and the beers aren't tame excuses of variety but great, world class examples. Today they had on draft RR Consecration, Perennial Sump, Dieu denver Ciel Peche Nortel just to name a few. They also have an extensive selection of whiskey.

Their food is good, but the reuben is awesome, as are their house made pickles. My biggest gripe is that they are ALWAYS out of something on the menu. I have yet to have an order fulfilled without substitutions. Sometimes they're out of their daily special, even as early as lunchtime, or they might be out of something as commonplace as french fries.

I don't bother to eat here anymore, but I will continue to drink beer here regularly.

Killer selection of taps to choose from that are constantly rotating. Location downtown is good as it's on the other side of downtown from places like Falling Rock (which can't be beat).
My gripes are with vibe, service and food (not with the beer selection, which is wonderful). Service ranges from very friendly and helpful, to non-existent and holier than thou. The vibe is just alright - the bar is great, but very small, and the rest of the restaurant feels like you're in someone's two-bit tiki basement bar (albeit with better beer). I honestly wish they would increase their bar size or change locations.
Not sure why others rate the food so high with so many other truly excellent gastro pubs within a few blocks (ahem, Euclid Hall). I'd call it palatable, but if I'm going to Freshcraft, it's for the beers, not the food.

People come here for the beer, but the food is the real star. The seasonal rotation is wonderful, every version of the burger somehow manages to top the previous one, and now they have a loyalty program? My favorite place in Denver for sure. It's my comfort food place, and the beer menu is great too. I've never been disappointed by the selection. Perfect score.

Standard bar appearance, very "new" looking.

Friendly staff, friendly patrons.

Great beer selection and excellent food. Reasonably priced.

It's pretty much anything you could ask for if you're looking for a combo of beer and food. A definite stop in LoDo.

I came because I heard the food was outstanding and the beer selection great. That's a pretty accurate representation.

I can't add much, but I will say the pork schnitzel I had here was to die for. I loved the sauce and the pickled veggies that accompanied it. Just an outstanding dish.

I ordered a sour, don't recall which brewery, and it smelled like absolute dog crap. The risks of trying new beers and always looking to get a new tick on Untappd. I think my second beer was something safer and designed to pair with my schnitzel, that was a much better decision.

Overall, just as I'd been led to believe, this place has great food and beer.

One of my favourite places in the city for a beer or for food. Their taplist is always outstanding, and from time to time, especially around the big beer events in Denver, they get some really special stuff in. They also have an extensive bottle list. Their menu changes seasonally and is intended to pair well with beverages. Be sure to check out their seasonal pairing dinners - not to be missed!

A-Freshcraft is located near my office in the heart of lower downtown Denver. The space is moderately-sized with a smaller bar up front, a half-dozen booths, and a smattering of tables toward the back. There are also a few, tightly-spaced tables on the sidewalk. The vibe is friendly, middle-market restaurant (think Chilis), but with a local, non-chain feel and an emphasis on beer.

Q-Freshcraft does a good job rotating their tap list to include a variety of high-quality brews from Colorado and elsewhere. The bottle list is also well-curated and seems like it rotates with some regularity. The beers are poured correctly and into appropriate glassware.

Ser-Most of the servers and bartenders know their beer and the restaurant menu. They are happy to answer questions regarding both, and will offer educated suggestions on beer and food pairings. Every now and again, the timing of food service will be off, or they will botch an order in a small regard (e.g., cole slaw instead of fries), but on the whole, the crew here does a good job.

Sel-On any given day, the tap list includes roughly twenty beers that are in pretty consistent rotation. I have never counted, but the bottle list includes at least 100 beers of various styles and sizes. Freshcraft also does a pretty decent job of bringing in rare beers on tap, e.g., they have poured PtY the past few years. Their import selection is not as solid as some places, but, on the other hand, their US selection is better than most.

F-I enjoy Freschcraft's food. It is one or two steps up in quality from bar food, but far from fancy or elegant. The sandwiches, in particular, are pretty tasty and make for a great lunch. The food is not anything mind-blowing, but I will happily eat lunch or dinner here.

V-The beer prices are on the higher side of reasonable, but nothing exorbitant. Food is reasonably priced and competitive for this part of town.

Might have found a new favorite spot in Denver. Great draft selection, great bottle selection, and a nice vintage selection of beer as well. Food and service were great. Family owned and operated, which is always nice. Will definitely be making many return trips.

Was here a couple times. Once during GABF and was amazing. The tap list and bottle list had some very rare desirable beers. The second trip back still had a great selection, but not nearly as rare. That is what is expected during GABF though. OVerall a great experience. If you can not get a seat though it can be a little annoying. Not a ton of room to just hang out and drink without a table. Not a problem usually except during GABF.

Ah Freshcraft, one of my favorite joints to take people from out of town. Exposed brick, a great menu with modern/eclectic food, and an impressive beer selection. I like it because there seems to be something for everyone: the food menu is diverse; they have a lot of different beers, wines, and liquor; they've got televisions with sports if you're interested but they don't deter from the rest of the atmosphere. I wish there was more standing room as it can get pretty crowded. The bartenders seem to be more informative and friendly than the table waitstaff, but that's almost typical nowadays. Reasonable pricing for downtown. Always one of my favorite stops.

A very chill place to eat and drink. Laid back, to the bones, casual. A nice large bottle selection but its the rotating tap line up that is most impressive. The food is solid...they take casual food and prepare it with a little more attention and care than typical. My biggest complaint is their limited appetizer list, which is small and doesn't really offer anything of much appeal. I end up buying a salad instead which is good but I come here to eat and drink and I generally prefer to heat something a little heavier when I drink. Service is okay, they have a decent handle of the beers and food they serve. Value is in line with what you'd expect...affordable but sometimes I feel as though the price and portion size could be a little more balanced. Probably the result of their choice of ingredients they use to prepare these meals.

This is one of my favorite beer bars! Nice simple tap selection, maybe 20 beers on tap, but always amazing selections! Then they have a cooler of bottled and canned beers that is on par with their tap selections. Went in for lunch this past Saturday and enjoyed a Great Divide Espresso Yeti with a very good breakfast burrito! Then my wife an I split a few barleywines from Lagunitas and Sierra Nevada. The service here is always excellent and the staff is very friendly and knowledgable. It goes to show you don't need 50+ taps to be a great beer bar. Service also goes a long way! Also a good place to watch sporting events, with some midwest influence definitely apparent. We will return!!! Great food and beer, they also ave great daily specials and happy hour specials.

I recently went to this place after wanting to visit for several months. Its kind of long and narrow but on a Saturday afternoon it was roomy, plus they had happy hour from 3-7 which is unheard of on a Saturday. Craft selection is excellent, both bottles and taps. They had several beers on draft I had not seen elsewhere and the best part is they offer your choice of 16oz pints or 10oz glasses of all the drafts. This is very nice since I prefer to have several smaller beers. The menu was fairly priced and I ordered some garlic chile chicken wings which were delicious. I liked this place and will definitely return soon.

Great selection and well thought out. Did not eat here, we just stopped in for pint while in town. They had many signs around the bar and in the front windows advertising beer events during GABF week, but times and dates were unclear. Great Craft Spirit selection as well. Bartender seemed overwhelmed with having 6 patrons at the bar and had little time to show her hospitality. I will return next year when back in town, and encourage you to also stop in. There might just be too many events scheduled in the most popular places during GABF that overwhelm owners, servers, and Bartenders. Anything Negative with my review is probably atributed to the week's madness.

Checked this out during GABF as well as a few others around town.

Overall it is a great beer bar with a great beer list, hands down if you want something different they will have it. Had a great Crooked Stave beer here, fantastic Fort Collins Brewery start up.

Food was good but not great. Basically exactly what I expected a great beer bar with good food (mac and cheese was pretty good). I had high expectations and they were met but not exceeded. Service was ok, and I played which way do I go with Sam from Dogfishhead down the bar, which at least gave me some indication of the quality of this place. Worth a try for sure.

A: Small bar area in the front of the bar with very casual restaurant area in the back. The front looks nice, but the back of the restaurant leaves something to be desired.

Q: Beers were served in correct glassware at appropriate temperatures.

S: Bartender seemed fairly knowledgeable about the beers on tap, but the waitress that served us was not.

S: They had a pretty good selection on tap and a decent bottle selection from what I remember. I had Odells Bourbon Barrel Stout on cask - impressive. They had a few other interesting selections.

My buddy and I stopped in for Dinner around 6 pm after the GABF Saturday afternoon session. Our goal was to avoid any Denver uber beer bars to chill and watch some college football and have a beer or two. We found Freshcraft on Urbanspoon as a sports bar and I had no idea it was an uber beer bar. No big deal as we had a solid experience.

It's a long, narrow place with 2-3 small TV's upfront in the bar and one (that I could see) huge projection TV in the back. The beer list is a good as you will find outside Falling Rock. The food is what really shines here. We had the Herb Crusted Cheese Dippers as an appetizer and split the Steak Au Poivre in a Roll and Cheese Crusted Iowa Style Pork Tenderloin (having once lived in Indiana, I miss pork tenderloin sandwiches).

The service was a bit hit and miss but considering how crowded they were, I'll let it slide. Most of the beers on tap were above 7% and it would have been nice to have a good pale ale or lower IPA for post GABF cool down.

A place I will certainly come back to in Denver for good beer and even better food.

Great location in LoDo Denver near the 16th Street Mall. Sweet vibe - reminds me on the it should considering the owners/brothers are from Iowa. Great spot for a quick pint, sit-down lunch/dinner, or just grabbing a beer after work or on the weekend.

The tap list is good with a decent selection of cross-functional brews. Bottle list doesn't change too often, but that's okay because they have a good variety of those too! Plus they have boxed vine (can't say I've ever seen that at a bar before).

Service is AWESOME! Very knowledgeable and super friendly staff. Willing to talk through palates and decisions on brew selection. Also, the size variety of ordering is sweet - taster up to large pours. This helps when they have a lot of really good stuff on!

The food is "comfort food" and they do a good job at this. A wide variety of small, medium, and large plates to satisfy appetites of all types. Freshness and quality of food is excellent considering they like to focus on beer.

Side note: They have awesome brewery only events here (i.e. Avery Taproom Takeover for American Craft Beer Week) where they focus the tap selection AND food on a particular brewery/style. Very fun!

I love this place. In Denver on business, I was looking for a local in the touristy central area. Beerfly sent me here. There is a great vibe here with friendly staff who know beer. They have some outdoor tables. When you walk in, you first see a big bar and then a large dining are in the back. Most of the 20 taps seemed localish. I did not look at the bottles. I had a local black lager (can't remember) and two saisons from Funkwerks. A great find for an east coaster. The food was good too. I had cheese soup and a salad with noodles and avacado (needed some salt). Most menu items looked good (i guess fresh, hence the name). I will be back if I return to Denver.

My wife and I fell in love with this place. We ended up going 2 nights in a row on our 3 night trip to Denver.

The atmosphere is pretty intimate with a bar area up front and booths and tables in the back.

The beer on tap was almost exclusively CO breweries and I was able to try some really good stuff I could never get in CA like Funkwerks, Dry Dock, and Fort Collins. There was a huge selection of bottles as well all broken down by style. All of the beers were super fresh and tasty.

The food in this place was exceptional. Every single thing we ordered was delicious, from the pretzel bites to the ale and cheese soup to the sandwiches.

The servers we had were super friendly and super helpful. They made us feel very welcomed and chatted with us about our trip a lot.

The prices were extremely reasonable for the quality of beer and food in this place. This would be my second home if it were located in my city.

Overall, this is my highest recommended spot in Denver to get a wide variety of beers and absolutely awesome food.

Stopped by here on emmasdad's recommendation and I'm very glad that I did. A quick ride on the free 16th Street bus from my hotel.

The place looks pretty small from the outside because it is kind of narrow but it goes back pretty deep. The front section is a small area with a nice bar and a few tables. There is a narrow hallway of booth that leads to a back room that has lots of tables for dining. The back room looks kind of like a basement/den with a large television but it's casual/comfortable.

The food and service were pretty good. The menu is broken down into snack, appetizers, small, medium and large plates. Plenty of choices for everyone includiong a few vegetaria options. I had an awesome turkey sandwich that came with avocado, jalapenos, and spicy mustard on a pretzel roll. We also had fries, fried pickles and pretzel bites.

Our server was very patient as we went through the menu. She also was very knowledgeable about all of the beers and breweries and always made sure out glasses were full. Very nice with such an extensive list.

The selection of beer was very impressive. They had around 15-18 beers on draft ranging from all different styles and breweries. I was surprised to see Victory all the way out here as well as Bruery Saison De Lente but I stayed focused on locals that weren't available in PA. In addition to the draft list they have well over 100 bottles. Awesome selection of Dry Dock, Odells, New Belgium, Funkwerks, Bristol, Fort Collins, Wynkoop, Great Divide, etc. I was super excited with the list here and recommend this place to anyone visiting Denver!
