Picked up at WhichCraft Beer store in Austin, TX (a great place to buy singles for sampling). Poured from a 12 ounce can into a pint glass. Frothy head that needed time to settle, providing good lacing. Melted butter yellow in color. Faint aroma with a hint of malty sweetness. First sip was a nice combination of hops with a subtly sweet finish, presumably from the corn sugar 'in the kettle', as stated on the bottle. I find that cream ales are one of the hardest beers to define, taste-wise, and that stands true with this beer. But it is more then a lager, less then an ale, and an easy beer to drink.
