This is a review of a test batch offered at the January Ranger Creek open house.
This pours a light, bright yellow. There’s a sweet, floral aroma with spring fruits—hints of delicate strawberries and cherry blossoms that dance on the nose and palate. This brew is full flavored, light and sweet, yet I found this wonderfully mysterious smokey complement to it. It makes me wonder if it was intentional or the result of some fermentation/yeast/barrel magic but I liked it.
