Served in a snifter from draft at the Beer Garden at the Foss Hotel in Reykavic.
Appearance: Cloudy light copper body with medium bubbles on the body creating a subtle (white) head, maybe half a finger's length off the body.
Smell: Light fruit notes consisting of grapes and light yeast.
Taste: You end up loving this beer, has one of the smoothest notes of sweet malts and light honey. Notes of green grapes and medium to heavy hops. The sugars offset the taste.
Mouth: Super sticky and amazingly smooth...looks like it's low in carbonation but the extra bubbles help tinplate the palates.
Overall:I took a chance on this brew, hardest part was finishing the glass because I didn't want it to finish. The beer is actually released to celebrate the gay pride parade here in Iceland, leg was saved from last summer and luckily I was fortunate enough to have a glass. Salud!
