Bottle purchased at Systrakaffi in Kirkjubaejarklaustur, Iceland.
This pours a clear and very light yellow, with a small head and no lacing.
It was not described as a Berliner Weisse, but that's what it smells like. There's some sour wheat on the nose, slight funk, with a nice lactic aroma as well, citrusy and tart.
This also tastes like a Berliner. It's light, and pretty sour, about a 6/10. This has a nice citrusy kick to it, with a bit of wheat and lots of lacto.
This is very light bodied, pretty crisp with a normal level of carbonation.
A nice little sour here, nothing to knock your socks. This would be a great summer thirst quencher, though.
