Copenhagen 25/12 2020. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Pink can with a dancing Raspberry wearing over-sized glasses.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - red with a bubbly white head. Disappears almost immediately leaving only a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweetish odor of berries with tart notes. Sweet raspberry. Tart gooseberries and hints of citrus. More sweet than sour.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a light sweetness followed by a slightly stronger tart sourness. Aftertaste is a bit thin and lightly tart. Lingers shortly. Finish is dry.
Nicely balanced berry beer. Not too sour and not too sweet.

Brilliant pink. Fluffy white head, which doesn’t last long, but is so impressive, despite its evanescence, that it takes the “look” rating up a notch. The beer’s capturing of the raspberry taste, without veering off into jam territory, is laudable. Pillowy mouthfeel.

L - rich pink with an off-white head that dissipates quickly leaving behind no real lacing
S - tons of raspberry, yeast, some wheat, some Brett funk
T - raspberry through and though intermixed with some Brett funk and yeast
F - light bodied with moderate carbonation
O - again, another really solid surprise from Iceland
