stout with coffee. Pretty decent drinker. not the greatest stout, ie very tasty but tasty enough to be a good sipper. Dark brown, above average mouthfeel.

Copenhagen 16/5 2023. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Black label in Borg’s usual text heavy design.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. Stable. Settles as thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, candy-like odor mingling with a scent of dark sweet alcohol. Chocolate cake, toffee and brown sugar. Sweet Kahlua.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a pronounced sugary undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
A tad too sweet for my taste buds but with a decent boozy kick.

Bottle: Poured a pitch black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light roasted malt with some chocolate notes and some vanilla and bourbon notes. Taste is also a mix of light roasted malt offset by sweet black chocolate notes with some bourbon and vanilla notes and finat woody notes. Body is full with great texture and good carbonation. Solid barrel-aged stout with a great mix of complexity and drinkability.
