Copenhagen 9/5 2023. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Black label in Borg’s usual text heavy design.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. Stable. Settles as 0,2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet malty odor mingling with a tart fruity scent. Earthy notes. Dark roasted malts. Toffee. Tart blackberries. Leather and soil.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger tart bitterness. Aftertaste is sour with a noticeable sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is tart berries and dark licorice.
Blackberries and dark beer works pretty well together.

Can: Poured a black color stout with a medium size brown foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with some chocolate notes and some blackberry notes with light Brandy notes. Taste is a mix of roasted malt notes with some chocolate notes and quite a bit of blackberry notes with faint brandy notes. Body is about average good carbonation and light warming alcohol notes. Interesting mix but not sure I would drink this on a regular basis.
