Feb 2014, At Rattle N Hum, NYC. On tap. This time it's winter's end & this still hits the spot. Mind you, it makes me wish for about +40F outside, but it's nice to remember what life can be. I would say "sunshine in a glass" but this is not a commercial. Get real. I'm in a bar & wishing it was FL between here & my apartment, but it ain't...snap out of it.
07/31/13 At Rattle N Hum, NYC. On tap. End of July & just the thing. As refreshing as it gets. First of the day & definitely not the last.
11/01/11 On tap at Rattle n Hum, NYC. Nice end of season taste. I'll have more.

Zingari White pours a hazy sunshine yellow. The beer's topped by two fingers of fluffy white foam that linger for a minute before descending down the glass. Lacing is left behind in chunks. The first thing that is apparant in the aroma is a strong medicinal-herbal smell. I'm chalking that up to the cardamom. Some bright lemony-citrus notes fall in behind on the nose. The flavor brings the two a little bit closer to being balanced, and introduces a bit ofsoft grainy wheat in the background to add a little more depth. The body is a little bit too heavy for whit should be a light, drinkable beer, but it is paired with a nice and bubbly carbonation, which soften's the body's weight just a little bit. Zingari White's not a bad attempt at adding a unique twist to a witbier, and if they reign in the spices a litle bit more, it's a beer I could see myself ordering regularly at bars in New York City.

On-tap 4/11/2012 at Doherty’s East Ave Irish Pub, in Pawtucket, RI served in a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a short white head that fades slowly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains heavy clove spice, Belgian yeast, light caramelized malts, wheat and some citrus.
T: The taste starts out with bready flavors of wheat, Belgian yeast and a light malt character followed by a strong burst of clove and ginger spices. The hops presence is mild and brings a decent balance. There’s also a mild citrus sweetness in the background. The after-taste is spicy and slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, light-to-medium body, medium-to-heavy carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, it’s a decent beer but there are better ones in the style.
