Had a little sample on their next to last day before closing. Nice golden brown color with whitish head. Sweet malt aroma is almost maple like. Tasted honey sweet but was matched well with a hop bitterness towards the end. High alcohol content was not noticeable at all. Wish there was more to be had.

Nice medium-dark brown color, minimal head, with little lace. Semi-sweet malty nose, with some alcohol making it's presence known. Mouthfeel/body were pretty good, overall. Malt sweetness starts out, but smooths out with a nice hop finish. Bitterness is there from the hops in a real pleasant way, and there is a long-lingering aftertaste of some of those hops, as well as a nice hint of chocolate as well. I like it! Note to Tod Mott: hope this bier re-appears on the scene down the road somewhere!
