This one apparently was aged for two years in bourbon barrels. It was released at a Swamp Head versus Terrapin tap takeover.
No head or lacing really on a burnt orange body which surprisingly let's little light through. Aroma of mostly orange and tangerine citrus with nice oak and bourbon notes as well. The flavor hits you hard at first with tart and tangy citrus followed by bourbon booze and finishing light and watery with Belgian yeast and more citrus. Boozy for the ABV I was told. I know it's almost 10 but still a little alcohol heavy. Light to medium body and light carbonation. Interesting beer. Wish I could try the standard version with it as I haven't had it for a while.
