2014 vintage; drank 8/30/14 @ the Yarchives.
Brown/purple color.
Tan head; frothy lace.
Roasted coffee, vanilla & mocha nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
The mocha notes are strong in the flavor, with the vanilla & coffee notes more muted but offering a nice backbone. As this warms, cinnamon settles on the lips.
A mild dessert delight!

Smelled very distinctly of Chex Mix, and while listed as an American Strong Ale here, was described as an Imperial Brown Ale at World of Beer. Overall, totally inoffensive but nothing mind blowing.

Unsure if I just got a bad bottle, but the smell on this was fake grape, nutty and some smoke. Maybe a touch of cinnamon. The flavor was seltzer water and nuts. Not my favorite thing...

A 22oz bomber picked up at Total Wine, Dunwoody GA
L - Dark brown, no head or lace or clarity
S - Peanuts and coffee! As soon as I popped the cap the aroma streamed out of peanuts, vanilla, coffee, toffee, and chocolate
T - Vanilla up front, coffee through the middle and finish. Well balanced, smooth. Not sweet.
F - Medium bodied and well carbonated.
O - A good dark ale with coffee, chocolate and peanuts.

Appearance: Dark Brown with red hues..1 finger was which dissipated very quick
Nose: Wow! Smokey dark roasted malt character, caramel, toffee, chocolate
