On draft 12/3/14. Heavy bourbon notes on the nose and on the tongue. Hard to pick up any hop bitterness due to a heavy malt and bourbon flavor. I enjoyed this for the bourbon, but if you'd have told me this was a DIPA I wouldn't have believed you.
Still, I love bourbon barreled beer and this one hit the mark on that for sure. It was very tasty and enjoyable. It just seemed more like a strong ale than an IPA.
