On tap at Das Biergarten. Served in a snifter.
Appearance - Black. Small mocha head. Very thin collarr.
Smell - Coffee. Lightly acidic. Oak. Chocolate.
Taste - Coffee is most prominent. Sharp acidic flavors, but not all taste like coffee acidity, though. A bit of a woody twang. Wood permeates. Very sharp. Some chocolate, but coffee really dominates.
Mouthfeel - Pretty flat. Medium heavy.
Overall - Not very impressed by this. Minimal bourbon flavor and the wood kinda detracts from the qualities of regular Wake-n-Bake.
