Pours out of the can a slightly opaque goldenrod with a 2 finger head with fizzy head but dissipates rather slowly. Smells like sweet tea, citrus, and sweet malt. Tastes a little like a carbonated sweet tea drink. Very bubbly mouthfeel.

Had T-Time at McCray's Tavern, Lawrenceville, Georgia, on draft into tumbler.

Pours cloudy gold with up-to-1-finger, near-white head, which quickly drops to a thing ring, and leaves no lace. Aroma of pilsner malt and tea. On tasting, begins sharply bitter, with a hint of tea, over barely there pilsner malt, before continuing bitterness carries into a crisp, very drying, very lemony finish.

Nice Berliner bitterness, but the tea gimmick adds little, unless you count an overly-lemon finish as in poorly prepared, allegedly Southern sweet tea.

12 oz can at the 2019 Spring Albino Skunk Music Festival.
The additions of lemon and tea are conservative, making this a fairly typical, save lemony, version of the style. Good balance albeit with rather strong tartness.

Pretty straightforward berliner - checks all the boxes, nothing off, the worst you can say is that it is a little boring & unadventurous, but it is everything you could ask for from a standard berliner on a warm day. Not too tart, good malt backbone, crisp finish

Appropriately, I had this at a golf outing. Poured from 12 oz. can into a clear plastic cup. It pours a light golden yellow with a large, foamy, milk-white head that dissipated quickly. It had the tart, citrus smell I anticipated but it was rather subdued. There was lemon, lime, and a whiff of orange peel, along with wheat cracker and spice. The taste was predominately lemon but with hints of lime, orange, white grape, wheat cracker, yeast, and pepper. None of the flavors were especially bold but they blended nicely. This beer is well carbonated, light, crisp, and super drinkable at only 4% ABV. Overall, it's a nicely drinkable Berliner but I've had other locals I liked a lot more. I share the thought of other reviewers that I had hoped for a more memorable Berliner from Terrapin. Still, it was welcome on a hot, sunny day.

A little disappointing, was expecting more from this great brewery. Slightly hazy golden color, nice amount of head with some lingering lacing. Smells very faintly of citrus and tea. Tastes mainly of wheat, bitter citrus (especially lemon) zest/rind, some herbal and floral hops and just a little bit of malt sweetness. Mild mouthfeel, mild carbonation throughout. Would likely look for a different sessionable beer if I wanted more than one, although admittedly I’m not a huge fan of this beer style.

Can. The aroma was worse than the flavor. I enjoyed the mild tartness. The body was really light. Had a bit of an off putting sweetness, though. Summery.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 10/1/2018. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Slight spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lightly tart lemon, lime, citrus peel, tea, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with light notes of pepper, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, lemon peel, tea, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart lemon, lime, citrus peel, tea, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with light notes of pepper, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness; light herbal tea/citrus peel bitterness, and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, citrus peel, tea, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, lemon peel, tea, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with great malt/tartness balance, and zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from tartness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately grainy/acidic/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is a very nice fruit/spiced Berliner weisse. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, lemon peel, tea, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the modestly acidic/drying finish, never overly lactic. Very flavorful for the low ABV. Really well balanced Lacto, lemon peel, and tea flavors; with a solid pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
