pours a misty, ruby blush with a medium head. nose; white bread, candied raspberry, & fresh thyme. taste; cracker malt, yeast, lightly tart berry puree, herbal thyme, & very light citrus hops. medium carbonation & mouthfeel. the 9.1% abv is virtually undetectable. this feels like a fruit/sour beer that i can handle and actually enjoy; lightly tart fruit and a very interesting garden character with the thyme. this would probably go great with seared fish and a swimming pool! :)

Not as fruity as I would have thought. That's actually a good thing for me, since i don't typically care for fruity, candy-like beers. There's a pleasant dryness to this saison, which I wouldn't expect given the ABV. It feels like the fruit and herbs are fighting each other a bit. I like the thyme flavors but after a few sips it does become a bit overwhelmingly funky and herbal. I think a tad bit more sweetness would help even that out.

L - Light malbec red wine color, cherry, 1 finger of reddish head, and no lacing
S - fruit, blueberries, herbs
T - Fruit forward, sweet, berries, but not much funkiness one would expect in a saison. Refreshing and enjoyable anyways
F - light body and carbonation
O - An easy to drink, summer saison. Cannot believe its 9%.

A solid saison base with a whisper of blueberries and a little herbatious note. The body is a too light and watery. It's the kind of beer that leaves you wondering "what is missing here"? Overall this is a beer that promised much and under delivered.
