12 oz can, best by 4/28/20, into Batch19 Glass.
Pours a burnt sienna color that fades more into a chestnut brown towards the middle. Nice creamy beige head of 1 finger that leaves lots of connected hilly lace as it descends to a thin creamy ring.
Aroma brings the hemp/cannabis similar to the Sweetwater beers, but isn't quite as potent. Some nutty brown malt and hints of cocoa powder also surface. It smells largely of a basic base-malt-heavy brown ale and light hemp.
Flavor is somewhat boring and that of a typical easy-drinking brown ale with notes of chestnut and caramel, bready maris otter malt, and very light notes of cola and semi-sweet chocolate.
Feel is crispy and tingling with a light to medium body and a tight carbonation. Mild alcohol warmth but it drinks like it should be 5%.
Overall an underwhelming beer, and maybe if I'd had it sooner I could have picked up more nuance, but at the end of the day it's a funny can with some cool shock value and a mediocre beer inside.
Price paid : $2.69 / can

not into the craze of hemp in beer - this brewery makes a lot of great beer but the hemp series is not to my taste This is the third in the hemp series I tried. This one has a better flavor than the others you get a taste of chocolate and cramel- still not for my taste

Appearance: Deep, clear caramel amber, with a khaki head and line of lace.
Aroma: Chocolate and dank weed.
Taste: Curious mix of bittersweet chocolate with hempy weed underneath. Not bad.

1st Review! I swear I smell crackling hemp seeds as I inhale.
a) Pours a cola colored body over which a tan dotty lacing head presides.
s/t) As close to inhaling as I could imagine in a brew, well done, along with caramel malt, porter profile, hop.
f) A bit thin, but a balanced tingly tongue pleasing finish of malt sweet, roast hemp seeds, bitter hop, which cleans up after each snort.
o) Looking forward to trying their hemp series.
