Special cask @ Brick Store Pub last night. Nicely presented in a tulip, hazy orange with a little cloudiness. One finger of white head rested neatly on top. Sweet aroma of wild honey, and zesty wheat. Bright first sip of a banana lemon pie with a huge dose of wheat. Very hoppy too as it played with the huge wheat base and, of course, the honey. Not sure what role the oak spirals played here, but I really couldn't detect any oakiness. To say that the "alcohol was very well hidden" is the understatement of the year. I had 2 on each side of a Big Hoppy Monster and could have had 2 more.

A- Deep sunshine orange brown with a small but decent head that left bit by bit

S- Lots of honey and lemon as well as a slight hint of orange

T- Very strong honey taste as well as orange with a flowery finish

M- Smooth throughout with a little tangy bite that finishes well

D- It's actually light enough to have a couple which is why I wish I bought more

Cask at the Brick Store last week.

Pours a hazy golden with a decent fluffy white head that lingers as a cap for quite a while, leaving good lacing.

The honey definitely makes itself known in the nose with some bananas and a hint of hops as well. Plenty of spices thrown in as well.

The taste was much like the bottled version, but I could detect a hint of the oak that toned the sweetness from the honey down just a tad. That said, it was honey, bananas and spices from start to finish.

The mouthfeel was creamy and smooth. The alcohol is hardly noticeable and there is no way I would have guessed 11%. Crazy drinkable.

Pours a beautiful dull very cloudy orange/yellow with a small ½ inch almost pure white head. Amazing smells of spices, honey, and wheat. This puppy smells so good I spent about 8 minutes just enjoying the nose. First sip is creamy and biting with a sour bitterness that demands your attention. There is a lovely fruity, citrus flavor that turns incredibly bitter with huge banana and honey notes leading the charge. The medium toasted oak spirals create a very welcomed oak overtone that truly compliments this amazing wheat wine. Creamy, Creamy, Creamy. This one time cask was available only for a few hours at the BrickStore Pub on October 14th.

This is one of the most exceptional beers that I have ever drank. It poured a nice yellowey-golden color with a smaller, with a decent head. Lacing was beautiful, like little curtains. On the first sip, I noticed the honey and the alcohol. Knowing that Terrapin used Weihenstephaner yeast, I knew that it had that some similer characteristics. It has a very sweet, light, and flavorfull taste. The drinkability of this beer is dangerous. At 11% ABV, it is not hard to cross the line!

If you are able to get one of these, then do it! I have looked all over Atlanta for them to no avail. Looking forward to their new Side Project coming out though. Belgian IPA!
