Hopsecutioner is a slightly hazy, pale amber beer that sports a thick, lingering fluffy just-a-bit-off-white head that leaves moderate amounts of lacing. Its nose is big: mostly pineapple, resinous pine and floral notes, with lesser amounts of bright citrus and some boozy undertones. Up front, the palate is bitter pineapple and citrus; by midpalate a slightly-toasted, slightly-sweet bready malt foundation shows through, balancing the flavor through the end; the hops flavor broadens to include the pine and floral notes from the nose. The finish is quite clean, with just a hint of pine left behind; this is quickly joined by a moderate hoppy bitterness that lingers a few moments. Mouthfeel is a bit bigger than might be expected from the light/medium body, and the texture is creamy and smooth. This is a very well-balanced, drinkable IPA. Pours a pleasant golden color, tight frothy head. All good stuff there. Pleasant on the nose, some citrus and hops. This beer is just really crisp and drinkable. Goes down easy with some slightly bitter hop notes, orange peel, kind of just doubling down on the initial aroma. It all really lingers on your palate throughout drinking, excepted of the style. Not much more to report, but that isnt a bad thing in a case like this. Great American IPA flavor with a respectable ABV to boot. Pretty good beer, will definitely pick up again!

Very much orange maybe tangerine...
Seems high alcohol...
Not particularly bitter... Bitterness shows up later.
There's an orange sweetness...
iBUin the '20s maybe 30...
It's sweet but balanced....
High
sweet note maybe from the yeast
It seems fairly clear I'm going to say it's maybe a seven on an SRM And this is probably a seven there might be a little bit of haze due to the protein but it's not really a hazy... Of course it's a hit it's an am hopsecutioner.... Should buy this in a 12 oz can...
Okay have bitterness... Showed up and it was orange... It's not quite medium body it's a little bit light.... The alcohol shows up.... This is just a taste for a plastic cup... It's worth another shot though

12 oz can take two.. opens with a snap... Citrus indistinct... Smells like one of those cuties what do you call them Mandarin ...Yeah ...
Pours beautifully but I had to help it out to release the CO2 to even get any sort of a head I feel like I took the energy out of it It left 3/8 head... bubbles are flowing better at an inch per second seems to be adequate...and it's starting to lace
There's a little bit of cloudiness I don't think it's chill from the glass with humidity...
In the glass I smell a little more lemon less mandarin starting to open up
.. I'm going to guess the SRM is 10 let me double check... No that was a bad guess SRM is a sick spot on for an IPA taste
I keep coming back to that hop note but I can definitely taste I'm going to call it Munich Malt..m ... Okay a bunch of going on's here with hops... I'm going to say I like it fresh It closes fast It's drinkable... It closes dry makes me thirsty the lively carbonation and the yeast are integral.... It doesn't make me stop to think It says it's a killer IPA 7.3
body is very medium...... It's lively and now I'm getting to the citrus so those hops are going to layer for you back of the mouth... And now I pause for this afternoon There's lots of linger there's lots of layering and I can see where all of these hop varieties are playing on my tongue.... To the back of my pallet.... And the longer I wait the more the bitter pinches .. encouraging another swallow... I first had this on tap in a smokey bar I couldn't fully appreciate all that was going on ... I'm glad I grabbed a can and this is a double... Modern 5 hop... I can't really declare a coast but it's not hazy it's not juicy It's not east It's an American IPA for sure APA not IPA...
. I'm going to have another go... But I'm going to save these notes give you my old score and then tell you what my upgrade but I think it's probably going to be higher this time... MCR later
Okay my first swing was -20% against the standard as it at a 3.03 clearly I wasn't impressed... You can easily bring that back to the standard by adding 0.7 points like I did..
Out of the can in the comfort of my own mug You're going to get some lacing... You're not going to get an extravagant head You won't want to pour it hard.... Cen is not expired ...we got What looks like 5 weeks on the BBD It's saying March 2nd 2026 and it's now January 24... hear that ? you will do fine., we have more than a month to go and I've got to say thank you to the bar where I had this the first.. time but... Should be serving this in the can even though I know your guy comes every 2 weeks to clean your lines You had the sign up there... I mean I'll be back but I hope the smokers lounge is kind of closed down cuz that's really distracting I can't get any nose.... But when I pop the can what did I say Mandarin Yeah and then I said lemon when it was in the glass yeah... All right I'll update the score 3.08 transforms to 3.78... so it was all about the beer environment and how good the lines were and how well kept the beer was... I'd really love to go behind the scenes and know what date they put that keg on... This is real world beer deviation so if you're scoring a 20 points low.... Might not be wrong... And if you're scoring with the crowd... You're hitting your averages.... And if you're above you're ahead of the curve or just really love the style or you got damn lucky.... Sorry that this reads so much like beer notes but this is formative for me and I'm late to the party.... I'll clean this up later MCR... Mfrs

Hopsecutioner pours a clean, darker bronze color, with a larger, frothy, and massively lacing head. The aroma is very earthy. The flavor has some notes of earth, a bitterness, a hint of hemp, and bitter vegetables. Good feel. Overall, it has a lot of flavors, a bit earthy, with a pleasant bitterness.

Pours from a 12 ounce can an amber gold color with one finger of foam head albeit a bit ragged appearing ….think ABC beer 1970s. Aroma of citrus and pine with some vanilla. Flavor is citrus and pine with grapefruit predominant. Mouthfeel is full and appropriate for style. Overall a nice IPA.

Definitely for the person who love that stronger hoppy flavor. Add that to the over 7%APV and you've got a winner in my book.
