On tap at the brewery's taproom in Athens, Georgia.
Appearance. Clear golden body with a tall white head.
The dank aroma vaguely foreshadows the tart flavor which does have clear watermelon notes. The tequila barrel effect is subtle in this 5% ABV , light bodied beer. The body is too watery.

The label on the can doesn't appear to have a date, but it does say "2021" printed as a part of the label.
Appearance: It has a pinkish-orange color while pouring but in the glass it is a medium shade of gold. The body is hazy enough that only dark shadows are visible through it. It has a short white head that doesn't last long.
Aroma: It smells like watermelon rind with a soft oak scent. It smells very impressive in that it smells just like cutting into a watermelon. The wood character that is there goes perfectly with the watermelon scent.
Taste: It tastes like biting into a watermelon, with the actual flavor of the meat of the watermelon. This is followed by a soft oak flavor with hints of vanillin. There is a light wheat flavor in the middle as well. It finishes off with a slightly tart, sour watermelon candy flavor.
Mouthfeel: It is lighter bodied with a bit of texture. It has a nice tartness.
Overall: It has been said that real watermelon won't work in a beer, and this is proof of the opposite; that it not only will work but works great. The actual flavor of eating a real watermelon comes through on this beer and it smells like a real watermelon as well. The label on the can states that this is "Tequila Barrel Aged" and the barrel character really does come through nicely. There doesn't seem to be any tequila character to the beer but as a whole the flavors and aromas work very well. I would love to drink this beer again and I would highly recommend trying it.
