OK, I love Terrapin and hop karma but I have to say this beer was a disaster. Served on draft at a local beer bar during an event.

Beer served in a Terrapin shaker pint glass. Beer is dark brown to black. No real head, no lacing, carbonation moderate to low.

Aroma is sweet and mildly citrus hoppy. There is some vanilla in the aroma. Looks and smells OK.

Beer is super thin with a ton of vanilla. Very sweet and cloying on the back. Oddly dry, probably due to all the forward sweetness and vanilla flavors. Its almost like drinking vanilla extract. Too much and too far. Not a good move. I will never have this beer again.

On cask at Terrapin's 8th Anniversary

Pours dark brown with a quickly fading head. Looks almost muddy. Smells of hops and vanilla, interesting combo. Taste is smoothed out by the cinammon, very unique IPA flavor. I'm digging it. The spices make this ten times better than regular Hop Karma. Mouthfeel is dead on, nicely carbonated. This needs to be Terrapin's new Christmas beer. Seriously, it is very nice.
