Picked up a four-pack from Greens Discount Beverage in Greenville, SC 12-29-21 for $19.04. No canning date; consumed for review 4-5-22.
Beer poured black with a very nice tan head with the original pour.
Nose is peanut butter forward with mildly roasted malts and chocolate in the background.
Taste is a pretty big mildly roasted malt base that greets peanut butter, chocolate, and salty pretzel. Finishes really well balanced, a tad sweet to be expected but not cloyingly so.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and silky smooth.
Overall i am surprised at how much i like this as this style tends to be too overly sweet. If you can see it on the shelves and you like the style check it out, you will not be disappointed!

Shared 16 oz "2021 Reserve" can.
It's s touch more salt than I'd prefer but otherwise this presents a well balanced mix of pretzel, chocolate, and peanuts. Lightly sweet up front with a mildly bitter finish that comes with a solid roasted grain and peanuts note. ABV is fairly evident.

16oz can poured into a snifter
A- pours black in color with a one-finger foamy khaki head that reduces to a film on top
S- aroma is lead by a bold roasted peanut note, followed by milk chocolate and salted pretzel. Undertones of caramel, toffee and milk sugars. Aroma is pretty spot on
T- roasted malt combines with the roasted peanut up front, followed by a malty sweetness of milk chocolate and caramel. Mid-palate brings out a toasted pretzel note, as well as some charred malt. The finish gives more chocolate and pretzel, with a salty pretzel note sticking around on the linger
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that turns creamy into the finish
O- just as advertised, all of the adjuncts were present and well balanced. Well done

12/27/21, B3 in Morgantown on way to Harrisburg. Enjoyed at the bar, on tap. Nice rich peanut butter and bready aromas. Medium body feel, bright, peanut butter flavors along with iron and minerals. Sweet, but not overly sweet. Dave doesn't get the peanut butter, just sweet molasses.
