Cask at cypress. Black saison on black peppercorns

A: As expected low carbonation and not to much head. thin lacing. Very dark stout like color.

S: a decent amount a roast and rye and then a real nice fresh cracker pepper in the background

T: just like the smell.. a real easy drinking roast. not to bitter but had a little spice of the rye and then the pepper just sneaks its way in there and shows its self. I thought it was going to be to much pepper but it mellows out real nicely. i havent had all that many beers with peppercorns but this is what i would expect it should taste like. very nice

m: nothing noticeably wrong or right. just a nice dry beer with not to much bitterness to clinch the tongue

D: The beer is really easy to drink. with such an odd flavor and style really i wasnt expecting to want more but i did. After finishing my glass i found myself breathing a nice bit of black pepper and it actually made me want more. I had a glass of hopslam in between (which the pepper went nicely with) and went for round too. Nice beer. I kind of wish this was the actually regular version that will be distributed..i'd buy it
