Look: looks great Nice head nice haze
Smell: spells West Coast pine, pine resin check
Taste: What kind of earthy pine pith tar not real sharp though... That is bitter as I expect from a West Coast... oh so it's a daydream.. This ain't Grandpa's IPA
Feel: feels very drinkable feels not daunting feels not west coast feels a little bit outside of style but is lovely...
Overall: Bottom line it looks good tastes good It's a modern IPA...
So people on the West Coast that are not big IPA people or start to lean east or hazy or Central or whatever.... This is marketed to them... It's a daydream.. It's modern... I'm going to say not true to style I mean where is that clamping bitterness?! I mean the pallet must be punished! no?
I like that it's drinkable Don't be put off..
Oh my god that aroma is incredible...
Late in the pallet... It turns super juicy at a certain temperature... This ain't West Coast... All the sudden got sweet and then late damping down I don't know ... This one's layered... I almost drank it too fast... It drinks better than I'm saying.... I'm just saying IPAs are confusing these days and this is not a West Coast... The way I remember them!
Sit with it too long it gets completely sweet.... This is a changeling

Purchased as part of a Terrapin variety 12 pack at the Winder Ingles for $14.99.
LOOK: Pours a bright, clear gold with copper hues along with a prominent off-white head. Head retention is poor but does leave some side glass lace.
AROMA: Has a moderate resin pine aroma with musky notes.
TASTE: Again, resin pine with acerbic hops. Drying, and both slightly sour and bitter.
OVERALL: The poured look of this beer was less than desired; the taste was better and overall, an average IPA.

Picked up a 12 oz single can as part of a mixer sixer from the Ingles on Airport Road cooler 11-15-24 for $11.99. No canning date; consumed 1-25-25. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured golden orange with a soap bubble head that dissipated to flotsam.
Nose is nice, getting a floral resinous theme with hints of citrus.
Taste is a lighter pale malt base that has a soft touch of grapefruit that blends nicely. Finishes with a strong bite of pine and rind; 7/10 on my bitterness scale.
Overall, this trends towards the west meets east style. Regardless, a pretty solid beer that i would have again.

West Coast style? To me this is East Coast all the way. Pours a frothy copper color. Nose is of citric pine and cloves. Nice mouthfeel with a pretty good burst of malt along with the robust hop flavors. A winner, but not west coast, sorry.
