Poured from 12 oz bottle into snifter glass.
A: Poured pitch black with minimal dark brown head.
S: Some chocolate with big roasted expresso flavors.
T: Coffee flavors dominate with some chocolate in the background.
M: Slightly dry with roasted coffee and bitter chocolate. Mild carbonation.
O: Enjoyable stout. I really liked the coffee forward flavor.

Served from cask into a New Belgium goblet.
Terrapin WnB in a cask with over a pound of spiced bacon.
Pours dark with a thin tan head. Nose is like a spicy breakfast meal. Slightly smoky, robust coffee just like regular WnB.
Taste is bold. Big coffee, bitter chocolate, and bacon! This beer is more about the bacon's spices than meat/smoke, and there is a mild spicy linger.
Mouth is rich and full. Just like the base beer.
Overall, a really cool treatment for one of the best coffee stouts out there!
