500 ml bottle with twist-off cap, bought at LIDL, Norway. ABV here is 4.7%. Pale golden colour, moderate head. Moderate aromatic hops, herbal and flowery notes. Fizzy mouthfeel. The rather dry flavour is dominated by a not very pleasant bitterness of not very good hops, becomes "industrial" and metallic in the finish. Not my favourite pils this one.

.5L brown glass bottle with twist-off pressure cap acquired as part of a six-pack at a Lidl in Berlin, Germany and served into a pilsner glass. Reviewed live. Expectations are below average given the brewery. 0.25 euro pfand. 4.90% ABV per the label. Side-poured with standard vigor as no carbonation issues are anticipated. Served cold.
No bubble show forms as it's poured.
HEAD: Pours a quarter finger head which recedes inside 10 seconds. White, fizzy, thin, and weak. Leaves no lacing as it recedes.
BODY: Translucent transparent dull yellow-copper. I wouldn't call it clean, but no yeast particulate or hop sediment is visible.
Looks okay for a pils I guess. Not unique or special. I've seen far better.
AROMA: Bland generic pilsner malts. Barley. That's it.
No yeast or hop character is detectable. There are no detectable off notes either (including overt alcohol).
Inoffensive overall, and light in terms of strength. It sure don't evoke much.
TEXTURE: Sharp and biting due to overcarbonation. Smooth and wet otherwise, but unrefreshing. Light to medium-bodied. A biteen too thick for a pils - especially one with relatively little flavour. Not as soft as would be ideal.
Not oily, hot, boozy, gushed, astringent, rough, or harsh.
Overall presence on the palate is subpar. The overcarbonation really impedes drinkability.
TASTE: Barley, unevocative uninteresting pilsner malts, a generic malty sweetness, and a kiss of vague generic hop character. Not the fresh crisp clean pilsner I hoped for. There's very little going on here. It's bland and boring. Why brew this?
Has a general loose cohesion. Not a gestalt beer. There's no real complexity, subtlety, intricacy, or nuance. Shallow depth of flavour. Average duration and intensity of flavour.
OVERALL: While the rampant overcarbonation is bothersome, the beer remains fairly drinkable. That said, it's a subpar pils with nothing to offer the discerning drinker. I wouldn't recommend picking it up, but it's a decent beer for its price point. We can politely call this one a "student beer." Hides its ABV decently. Far from world class.
