This year we took another family up to L.P. hoping to show them a great time rather then sitting at a shore house. My buddy bought several bottles and I had my growler refilled. At the cabin we popped some caps and I had some really bad beer.
Thier pale ale starts off with promise, a nice color good head fading and carbs. Aroma was light with bready malts and some hops. Taste was disappointing in that it was fouled with mold or something.
I like supporting all the breweries in the adirondacks b ut it's hard to support this one.
The chick who filled my growler was quite helpfull and fun and the shop is awesome.

I was really wishing this would be tastier... i guess that's why i just found out about them and i live an hour away from the place!
A - Light for a pale ale, and a little foggy (looks like yeast to me). The head faded almost immediately, unusual for a naturally carbed beer. Not a great start :-/
S - Pretty hoppy, nothing too floral or fruity here. Just hoppy and a little bit of bready malt in there
T - Kind of threw me for a loop. At first it seemed pretty good, but the second sip was too bitter (and i usually LIKE bitter!). Nothing really pops out, just fairly bitter/spicy and a little malty. Meh
M - Probably the best thing about it, pretty creamy and smooth going down. Nothing special though
D - I might have a hard time finishing the 22oz bottle, but I might try their other brews sometime... we'll see.

A - From a 22oz bomber this pours 2 1/2 fingers of frothy white head that has great retention and leaves some traces of lacing behind. The beer is a slightly cloudy pale yellow color. I can make out a good amount of carbonation bubbles.
S - Some pale malts and a spiciness make up the aroma. Overall it's very underwhelming.
M - A light bodied beer with moderate carbonation. It has a creamier feel to it. Carbonation is spot on.
T - The spices from the nose hit first followed by some malts. Some weak citrus hops balance the malts at the end. The spiciness seems to linger after it goes down.
Not a terrible beer, but not anything to go out of your way to pick up. It hovers around average for craft beer.

The beer pours a gold color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is average at best. It has a pale malt scent with some hops in there as well. However, it has a very nasty musty smell that kills the aroma. The taste is average as well. It has a pale malt flavor with some citrusy hops also. The dry mustiness comes through on the taste which hurts the review. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a low bodied beer with good carbonation. This would be a good pale ale if it weren't for the dusty yeast smell. Please try something different!!!!

Had this brew on tap over at the Villa before dinner. Not a bad beer but was just hoping it would have a bit more character. The brew pours to a slightly cloudy pale yellow color with a nice head that did not have great retention, broke down quite quickly but did leave a fair amount of lacing down the glass. The aroma was quite basic with highlights of pale malt and a spicy hop that was not very strong. The taste was ok, not fantastic but a good overall brew. Can definitely notice a bit of a hop bite that is nicely balanced out with the malt. Over all it is a fair beer, and nice that it is local.
