growler dates 7/14/11 'Maris The Otter'
poured into a mug.
Touted as LLBC's Mild Summer Ale...
Appearance- beautiful copper color, very hazy. little to no head or lacing but a nice crown left on top. Unfiltered.
Smell- Citrus, malty, bready, earthy, very nice.
Taste- Delicious. very slight hop bite at the beginning and very late. Citrusy notes to the middle. Great summer ale.
Mouthfeel- I would love a bit more carbonation, but I am drinking the growler almost 3 weeks after bottled. That could play a big part.
Overall- Lovely brew. Hope to get my hands on another growler soon, but If I don't travel north soon, I'm afraid I may have to wait until next year.
