Lighthouse Brewing 'Citrus Shore' @ 4.6% , served from a squealer purchased for $6 & a 6pack of 355 ml cans $15
A-pour is gold from the squealer to glass with a medium white head leaving a streaky lace along the pint
S-citrus , lots of melon
T-sweet start almost juicy , lemon grass finish
MF-ok carbonation , medium body
Ov-possible good summer session ale

355ml can - cute historical account involving oranges on the back label.

This beer pours a mostly clear, medium copper amber colour, with four fingers of puffy, rocky, and chunky off-white head, which leaves some random sudsy splatter lace around the glass as things quickly sink out of sight.

It smells of slightly sugary, and rather pungent orange flesh, grainy and crackery pale malt, a lesser caramel sweetness, and some very tame earthy, leafy, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is gritty and grainy pale malt, a hint of biscuity toffee, orange extract, candied citrus peel, a small hard water flintiness, and more well understated leafy, weedy, and musky floral verdant hoppiness.

The carbonation is average in its palate-probing frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and generally smooth, nothing really standing out at this particular juncture. It finishes off-dry, the lingering malt still in tough against all that hovering citrus essence.

Overall, this is an enjoyable enough quaff, very summery in its citrus assault on my better senses. Refreshing on a hot day, I have to admit, and I could very well see having a few more of these (in theory), after attacking that literal jungle one might call my back yard.
