Aromas of tangerine, orange and tropical fruit are supported by light maltiness and mild bitterness in Poseidon Pale Ale. Medium bodied for optimum drinkablilty, we hope you enjoy our flavorful, yet crushable, West Coast Pale Ale.

Lighthouse Brewing 'Poseidon' @ 5.0% , served from a 6pack of 355 ml can's
A-pour is a light gold from the can , to a hazy gold in the glass with a large white head , leaving a fine spotty lace along the Spiegelau
S-Tangerine , slight hoppyness
T-decent malt base stands out
MF-ok carbonation , medium body
Ov-just needed a 4pack , still a good PA kinda , (better than Tasman or Citrus Shore)

Clear dark gold color. Poured a medium height head that took a couple of minutes to collapse to a thick skiff. Medium flow of mixed size bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass. Left long strips of lacing.
Strong neutral hop scent with a very faint yeast smell. Swirling the glass kicked up some spice and a light barnyard that mostly disappeared in a few seconds. A light malt showed up after the barnyard faded.
Starts mildly bitter with a bit of barnyard, then the bitters kick up to a medium. Neutral hop flavor with some caramel malt. The aftertaste is mostly hoppy with some milder bitters at first. The bitters get stronger as the hop flavor fades.
Light tongue tingling. The foam is creamy for a few seconds and then grows to medium sized bubbles. Medium body. A bit oily. A hint of astringency.
Nice demonstration of the style. The hop scent was really obvious as soon as the can was popped, before pouring. It is nice to have the barnyard constrained to a light touch as compared to the region norm two years ago.
