The setting sun illuminates particles of frost falling through the sky. A tall beam of golden light reaches up from the horizon. Just like Sun Pillars, our winter IPA is a rare occurrence. Charged with generous additions of Rye malt and Mosaic hops, tropical fruit aromas lead to notes of spicy orange.

Beautiful clear copper to amber pour with two fingers of slightly tawny frothy off white head.
Nose hits with spicy rye malt, notes of rye bread, burnt citrus, pine and a slightly weedy and dank herbal character.
Tastes of grainy and spicy rye malt - again a burnt orange note, hints of pine, an aggressive herbal and weedy bitterness, and a wisp of onion. Faint tropical notes only.
Medium full mouthfeel - brisk carbonation gives a creaminess while the bitterness lingers.
Enjoyed very much, but this is aggressive in both hop aroma and flavour.
