A: Pours an exceptionally clear pale amber colour with 2-3 fingers of head that dissipates quickly. Leaves a moderate amount of lacing.
S: Smells of wheat, grass along with some lightly spiced background notes of coriander and ginger.
T: Big upfront of yeasty bread with spicy notes of ginger and coriander.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: Another solid offering from Lighthouse. Nicely wheaty with a good amount of spiciness.

650ml bomber poured into tulip 18/8/13
A slight haze in a golden yellow body, you can see the other side of the glass under the finger of short lived foam that leaves just a few random patches of lace
S honey, cereal, coriander, ginger, clove, and some citrus, smells fairly strong with some Belgian yeast and well hidden booze
T much like the nose but not quite as strong, a little booze and orange peel, pretty tasty stuff but the nose has a little something over it
M light a and fluffy with a little heat but its faint, spicy ginger lingers on the finish
O interesting take on a Wit, hits most of the spots and has a fair bit of kick
its a little strong for this sunny day but I'll get by, well made and worth drinking. I been impressed with lighthouse and want to try more, I wish I could get more seasonal brews from them in Alberta

This is a more flavourful version of the Belgian White released last year. Better mouthfeel an d a lovely balance between the citrus and coriander and the malt base. The higher alcohol than a regular wit is not really to apparent yet the big taste profile works with a beer at this ABV level. Great beer to had with summer foods but will also work as we move into Fall

Pored from a 650 ml bottle. This pours a crystal clear whitish yellow colour. The nose offers an exotic array of notes: floral, ginger, coriander and Belgian witbier spice. The taste is even more complex, as there is a big fruit component to accompany the earthy ginger and spice notes. Though this is 7.5% ABV, it drinks like a typical wit. Very tasty.
