Main location in downtown Fairbanks with another on the airport highway.
Interior is one large room with tables for about 60 and bar stools for about 20. Very homey with lots of sports memorabilia on the walls; mostly relating to Chicago teams (?). Not too crowded during a weekday happy hour.
Fifteen beers on tap: no macros! Included were eight brewed in Alaska beers from Glacier Brewhouse (in Anchorage), Alaskan (in Juneau) and Silver Gulch (just north of Fairbanks). Also Mirror Pond, Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams and Shiner Bock.
Seventeen bottled beers which were mostly macros as well as Heineken, Guinness and Beck's.
We drank some Alaskan Amber, Glacier IPA, Copper Creek Amber and Alaskan White. All were fresh and tasty.
Friendly staff who offered some tasters but knew more about the food than the beer.
Food is really noteworthy. Prize winning barbecue with a very large selection. Very generous portions and reasonable prices, especially for Alaska.
Big Daddy's is easily the best choice for good beer in Faibanks.
