Copper with a thing white head. Rather strong citrusy aromas that I felt were a little strong for a pale but they were pleasing nonetheless. Light body with a lemon/lime like citrus flavor. A light nuttiness was also present with a bit of carbonation tang.

Presentation: 12oz brown bottle. No freshness date. Hand bottled.
Appearance: Deep amber in colour with a frothy white cream head that sticks and stays very well.
Smell: Lovely fresh, floral, citrus hop aroma with obvious grapefruit-like notes and fruity esters in the background.
Taste: Smooth, creamy and a bit chewy. Initial character is full and rich with sweet malts including caramel, dextrin and toasted malt flavours. Fruity esters follow, with notes of light tropical fruits. A hoppy beer (not over the top), the hop flavour is very citrus rind-like, a tad salty with loads of fresh raw hop flavours -- leafy, earthy, some hop oils and slighty coarse. Finish goes grain dry with a touch of mineral in the flavour. Grain tannins also tend to linger on a bit too.
Notes: A very flavourful and enjoyable Pale Ale. Nicely balanced.
