Opaque and black in color with a very thin bubbly white head. Strong aromas of roast grains and chocolate. Roasted coffee and chocolate dominate the mouth with a slight sweet character lying in wait. Bitterness is pretty strong on the back of the tongue and takes away a little from the drinkability. Overall a pretty enjoyable brew.
