Beer has the appearance of cloudy iced tea with a nice ring of white head. Head leaves a nice trail down the glass as it is consumed. If it weren't for the cloudiness, appearance would be a 4.5 or so. Grapefruit and nuts dominate the nose with a light spiciness that clings to your nostrils as you take the glass away. Not a traditional tasting amber by IMO, but a pretty good brew. Fruit (notably grapefruit) start at the tip of your tongue and yield to some slighlty sweet nuts towards the back. Bitterness is moderate but blends nicely with the other flavors and does not detract from the drinkability. A pretty good brew that's worth picking up.
