Sampled at the CT River Brewers Festival.
The color is a bit paler than your standard Oktoberfest: more of a pale amber color. That was a dead giveaway as to the rest of the experience. A bit pale in the aroma, as well as a bit pale in the taste. It was a good beer, but it lacked the full-bodied maltiness that you usually get with a good Oktoberfest. Don't get me wrong: it is still a good beer, but just not up to par with the style. A few extra points on taste and drinkability, because it was still a good quaff.

Nutty and fruit (apples) aromas were quite strong and cut through the lingering dinner smells without getting my nose near the glass. Small amount of white bubbly head ringed the top of the beer. Quite sweet with some apple and pear like flavors. Definitely not a typical Oktoberfest and I had to dock it in the end (unfortunately). An interesting brew that is worth trying.
