Handsome dark amber brew. Lovely fruity nose with a whiff of booze and barrels. Plenty of carbonation and an astringent edge to the malty body. Not overly sweet. The woody flavor comes through more than the Bourbon. A bitter hoppy finish.
Long cherry taste with that fizzy fermenting flavor. Fruity and malty. Leaves a surprising bitterness in the aftertaste, but the booze does take the edge off the hop overload. Quite delicious and sippable brew. On tap at the brewery on the Memorial Highway.
