Clear golden amber brew with an abundance of white foam in the 0.3 litre Einbecker Pils glass. Poured from the 32 oz growler filled at the brewery tap. Quite spritzy on the tongue. Some malty substance in the mouthfeel. Lemony hint is about all in the aroma department.
This starts with a grainy sweetness and then turns to the bitterness. And the aftertaste just keeps getting more bitter. This seems like a mis-judgement on the hop they were brewing with. Gaaaaah. The hops are typically bold at North Sound, but this is more like the excess of flavorless bitterness favored by two other Mount Vernon breweries I could name.
