Clear golden brew with long-lasting foam in the tall goblet. Herbal and juniper aroma. Intense flavors and quite a bitter aftertaste. Astringent but pleasing sudsy mouthfeel. Quite acidic after a couple of sips.
This thing is a chaos of flavors-- salty, tart, bitter, and the strange fruity-herbal gin taste. Serious barrel flavors and bordering on sour. Thoroughly interesting but hard to sip much of it. The medicinal bitter aftertaste leaves you wanting another sip but then you wish you hadn't. From the 32 oz crowler canned at the brewery tap.
