I feel this beer isn't getting a fair rap. I live about 20 minutes from the brewery and look forward to being able to stop in for a few pints. I usually start with a Hopsolicious, then go for a Hopsolute as my second pint. The Hopsolicious has more Simcoe and Citra giving it that Russian River profile. The Hopsolute has a sharper profile.
The tap room has a convivial atmosphere with delightful bar-gals and a mostly local patronage.

Served in shaker. Poured a lightly hazy yellow color, with just a thin cap of white head that had very low retention and lacing.
The aroma had a low hop profile, and an even lower grain aspect. The taste was the same, nothing really jumping out.
The body was on the fuller side of average for the style. Drinkability was fine. Overall, an average, at best, IPA.

Slight haze on the golden orange brew in the chalice. Quite sudsy mouthfeel with a seriously acidic zing. Lime peel and resins in the aroma. Brewer says hops are Citra and Mosaic, both in the boil and dry-hopping. Must be a serious dose, this stuff is quite bitter.
There is some lemon and grapefruit juice taste, but it quickly turns into grapefruit pith. Light body and fragrant, but it's take no prisoners. Clean and crisp, just not very drinkable with the excessive bitterness. From the 16 oz can purchased at the brewery tasting room.
